1. Scope of Services

RJ Digital Systems ("The Agency", "We", "Us") provisions cloud-based automation and compliance logging infrastructure for the Client. We explicitly do not offer financial, tax, or legal consulting.

2. POPIA Operator Mandate

In terms of Section 20 of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), the Client acts as the Responsible Party. RJ Digital Systems acts strictly as the Operator. We will process personal information strictly in accordance with the mandate and written instructions of the Client. The Client warrants that all phone numbers processed via our WhatsApp API integrations have been legally obtained via active opt-in.

3. Intellectual Property

The "Logic" (including database schemas, Supabase Edge Functions, frontend code, and architectural design) remains the proprietary intellectual property of RJ Digital Systems, licensed to the Client for use during the active subscription period. The "Data" (client lists, order history, compliance logs) remains the sole property of the Client.

4. Limitation of Liability

Our automation logic is deterministic, but relies on third-party uptime (Meta, Netlify, Supabase). We shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from API downtime. Regarding HVAC/R systems, our software facilitates the logging of SANS 10147 data; we bear no liability for physical plant failure or stock spoilage.
